Enjoy the Lake St Lucia Estuary – a World Heritage Site a good opportunity for seeing crocodile, hippo and many species of water birds from the boat. Visit Durban or skirt around it and on to view the “Valley of 1000 Hills”, Pietermaritzburg, capital city of KwaZulu – Natal in the Midlands waterfall country. Depart for the Drakensberg Mountains passing through the Midlands Meander and enjoy the splendours this area has to offer. Take a drive to the Royal Natal National Park and spend some time walking some of the short riverside trails in the shadow of the mighty Amphitheatre. Around midday drive via the scenic Oliviers Hoek Pass back to Johannesburg.
