Round trip with 4x4 transport and a Driver/Guide [Min 2 people preferably 3 to 7/8 making two 4x4’s]
Spectacular scenic tour through Lesotho, Eastern Free State and the “Kingdom of the Zulu”. Set out early passing through prime farming country through Underberg and up the famous Sani Pass to the top of the Drakensberg passing through customs (passport required) and into the “Kingdom in the Sky” Lesotho. viewing many places of interest including the nearby highest peak and pub in Southern Africa, enjoy a packed lunch. Late that evening, relax in the lodges of Katse or Oxbow [Map]depending on the weather and time. After breakfast take in more of Lesotho country stopping that night at the much loved Eastern Free State village of Clarens. Travel on through the Golden Gate National Park past Sterkfontein Dam and on to the Northern Drakensberg’s Royal National Park . The following morning complete your journey back to base exploring the Berg as well as the Midlands Meander on the ways continuing your major route the following day.
