Gauteng or Western Cape - Northern Cape/Upington - Gauteng/JHB or W. Cape / C.T.

FLY OUT from JHB or C.T. to Upington the main town of the Northern Cape  being a lush oasis next to the awesome Orange River. Pick up your booked hired car or preferably a 4x4. The following day move to the deafening 90m Augrabies Falls cascading down a series of granite cataracts. Next morning travel up north to Kalahari sand dune terrain and experience the food, culture, open skies and tranquility. Following day set out for the vast Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (Kalahari Gemsbok NP) not to be missed by anyone. Return to Upington and if time allows visit  dry fruit industry, winelands and in spring the flamboyant shows of floral splendour (peak season booking). Fly or drive back to your next destination JHB or possibly C.T.
